Course Memo
This seminar introduces diverse understandings of the Holy Spirit in and beyond Christian communities around the world. More specifically, it will examine the impact of local cultures, economic conditions, and social factors on the contemporary expressions of Christianity (Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Traditional Protestant, Pentecostal, or Indigenous Independent) on six continents, with particular reference to articulations about, and experiences of, the Holy Spirit.
