Course Memo
This course prepares students to proclaim gospel for communal worship and in the public square. We will examine basic theories and practices of preaching for faith communities and of proclamation for public witness by developing working theologies of proclamation, practicing interpretation of texts and contexts, examining rhetorical strategies, and attending to embodied practice. Students will preach and give public addresses in small groups. Pre-requisites: OT1 or NT1
